Welcome to the website of the Nailsworth Subscription Rooms — a building with a distinguished past and a promising future.

You may know the building as the Nailsworth Boys Club, or even the Cinema. Now the space is being made available for community use such as music, exhibitions, sport, films, plays and private parties. If you would like to use the building, please go to our booking page.

The building is looked after by volunteer members and we can always use some help! If you want to get involved please get in touch with the committee via the contact page.

News:

• Arkell Bequest We are delighted to tell you that the NYCE bid for £30,000 from the Arkell Bequest has been successful and we now have funds:
  1. To improve the toilet facilities so that they will also be suitable for disabled use.
  2. To provide curtains so that the main hall can be used again for badminton and perhaps cinema.
  3. To refurbish the kitchen/coffee bar and provide chairs and tables.
  The plans have been drawn up and work will begin shortly.

  We are very grateful to the Trustees of the bequest for looking favourably on our bid and especially to Mr Arkell for his generosity.
