Rob Tannion, Greg Banks and Tom Johnson directed & choreographed 30 performers who came from as far away as Slovenia to be involved in this project. Amazing.

ARK
March 11th to 21st 2009
A group of artists, linked by working or having worked for a prominent artist based in the South West. The show explored what they produce in their own time outside the 9–5.
The exhibition included a variety of different disciplines, sculpture, painting, installation, illustration, performance, site specific art and photography.

Film Evening
Friday 13 November 2009
The Nailsworth Film Club held a film evening in the main hall. In keeping with the Friday 13th theme this was a Spanish horror movie - "The Orphanage" - a gruesome tale of events in an isolated ex-childrens' home. (More information here.)

Nailsworth Festival

Burns Night
January 29th 2011
On 29th January we will be celebrating Burns Night in The Nailsworth Workshop (Lower Ground floor) with live music, poems and stories.
We are inviting anyone attending to bring their own contribution and do a turn of their own, be it music a poem or their own party piece. If anyone is interested we are asking them to let us know when they come in.
The entry cost is £5.00 and there will be a licenced bar. We will start at 8.00 until late.

Sam's Dewe Project in Uganda

The Community Workshop is holding an evening of music, stories and drumming to raise funds for Sam's Dewe Project in Uganda. The evening will begin in the workshop at 8.00pm and entry will be £3.00. Do come and have some fun and help raise some money along the way.

Nailsworth Festival 2011 Events
Saturday May 28th the Childrens Theatre was held in the Main Hall.
Sunday May 29th there was a Cream Tea Promenade. Geraldine Brown put together a lovely varied programme involving a number of young musicians (3 singers, a flautist, 2 saxophonists, a harpist and 2 pianists) and they performed to an appreciatve audience over a period of 2 hours.

Leather Working Weekend

Highly experienced leather worker Jeannie Ireland will be running a weekend course where you can make your own leather objects. Possible projects include quivers and other archery equipment, bags, wallets or belts. The cost is £125 plus materials (maximum of £25 depending on the project).
